We are Hashmi's, the farmers and caretakers behind Organic Oasis Farm. We started this farm right here in Genoa, Illinois, with a simple, powerful belief: food should be raised with respect.

In a world of industrial agriculture, we wanted to create a true "oasis" in DeKalb County—a place where animals could live happy, natural lives and where the land could be regenerated, not depleted. We got tired of wondering where our food came from, so we decided to build a farm we could be proud of, one that we’d be honored to share with our community.

We use rotational grazing and sustainable methods to build healthy soil and promote biodiversity on our Illinois farm.
